My favorite coffee shop in Austin, hands down! I visited the restaurant once and this place caught my eye and it was highly recommend by my friends. Mozart's Coffee Shop in Austin is an absolute delight, especially during the holiday season. The Christmas lights display is simply magical, creating a festive and cozy atmosphere that makes it feel like a winter wonderland. The café's lakeside location adds a photographic backdrop making it perfect for capturing beautiful photos. I did not get the tickets in advance so I did not get into the holiday market. So I ended up only going to the coffee shop. We ordered the Holiday hot chocolate with marshmallows, the Tiramisu Mousse Dessert, Samosas, Croissants. The lattes were light and flavorful but was hard to get the marshmallows through that container. The tiramisu was good too , rich, creamy. Samosas did not come out so had to return and get them again but ended up being worth it. Wish the service was faster but can't complain since it is always crowded, speaks for the quality. Also, parking is a nightmare, so plan your visit. This is my second visit and to more visits!!

Beautiful spot with a great view of the lake if you want to sit outdoors. The shop itself feels homey. Great for a little date! I got the seasonal cinnamon latte, peppermint choco cupcake, chicken empanada, and the sausage pretzel kolache. All tasted great and would get again. I was most impressed with the choco cupcake, the cake portion was so moist and delicious! Best cupcake I've had in a while. I took off a star because there isn't a lot of parking out front. We ended up having to do street parking

The place to be during the holidays! The light set up is so beautiful! Try to get there early around 5/6 pm to avoid the big crowds around 7/8 pm! The lines can certainly get long to get inside the cafe and order drinks / food and it can be hard to find a table to sit at during peak hours! We ordered chai lattes - pretty good, light flavor could be stronger imo. We also got the tiramisu mousse dessert - so rich and delicious! A really good tiramisu! A little on the pricey end - I got one small latte and the tiramisu and it was around $18 after tip We noticed they also have an igloo set up and boat rides but we just did general admission this year. So many different light fixtures and decorations all over the place - great for photos.

Tried and true favorite local spots to come and hang out of all time. Mozarts is unique because there are no other coffee shops with a view of Lake Austin that hold this charm. There is seating inside, but the best seats are outside on the lakeside. I have come to mozarts for a numerous of occasions. From first dates, studying, showing friends and family from out of town a slice of Austin, and now the holiday lights show. There is ample seating with tasty pastries, empanadas, quiche, and coffee! It can get quite busy, so if you want to study, come earlier in the day and bring headphones. Chillin by day, action by night is how I would describe the atmosphere. The views and vibes of Mozart never get old. In October they had an F1 popup event, followed by a fall festival, in December they have a holiday festival that now entails boat rides, a light show with music, etc. I appreciate that they are always trying to keep up with the flourishing events of the city.

Oh Mazart's how I love you. Family tradition for your Holiday lights. We arrived last night and something was different. We walked towards the employees at a table. The coffee shop itself is not blocked off, but the rest of the area was. Seven bucks to get in. Why? For decades it has been free. Enjoy your coffee and hot cocoa, both excellent!! Kids were a little shocked 8 bucks for a small cocoa, no marshmallow, no whip. $25 to ride the Holiday decorated boat. We did not pay to enter or ride a boat. Please bring back your Holiday lights, at no charge.

Mozart's Coffee Shop in Austin is an absolute gem, especially during the holiday season! I visited recently and was completely blown away by the stunning Christmas lights display. The vibrant and festive atmosphere instantly put me in the holiday spirit. The location itself is beautiful, nestled right next to the lake, which adds a serene backdrop to the lively vibe of the café. The service was great, and the staff made sure we were comfortable despite the crowd--there's always a line, but it's so worth the wait! We got their seasonal S'mores Hot Chocolate, and it was yummy, rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Must visit!

Mozart's has the best view and the best coffee in Austin! They do a light show every year for Holidays, which I enjoy fully and thoroughly to my heart's content. This year, they decided to do things differently! And boy was it messy!! But Mozart's issued an apology and said they'll refund and accommodate. So I tried my luck again today, and it did not disappoint! They were super nice about accommodating. They did things differently this year - instead of doing a light show - they have something closely resembling a Christmas market with Santa walking around greeting the kids, the kids are overjoyed - it's so awesome! I liked how it was organized in the year's past but I guess I can get used to this new vibe too! Thank you Mozart's for the wonderful experiences that you provide for your patrons

Tip: Get the snickerdoodle! I wasn't impressed with my draft latte the first time I went, but I enjoyed the pastries. We got a chocolate chip cookie and lemon meringue tart. They both had a nice balance of sweetness to them. The sugar cookies in the front are so cute too. I went again and got a snickerdoodle which was AMAZING and a croissant cookie, which was also good warmed up. I wish they had all the lights on already, but it looks like they don't turn on the Christmas lights until the end of November. The performer outside on Friday had a wonderful voice, but the weather was so wild and too windy, so we had to leave. When I'm back in Austin next month I can't wait to see the lights on! The employees here are also really friendly. And don't be scared of the line, it moves rather quickly.
